The Position

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will report to and support the VP, FP&A and AR and work closely with the executive management team and other functional leaders on a variety of strategic initiatives, primarily related to budgeting, financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Such support includes forecasting and budget analysis, including cash forecasting and analysis, and supporting other areas, such as evaluating acquisition models and preparing key operational metrics for the monthly close. Responsibilities

Specific Job Functions:
  • Working with leaders to champion the annual budget process
  • Creating detailed financial models for budgeting, forecasting and other long-term modeling needs
  • Developing presentations to summarize projected results
  • Preparing analysis on organic/inorganic growth, variances compared to actuals and prior forecasts, forecast risks and opportunities, etc.
  • Consolidating, analyzing and distributing key operational metrics on a monthly basis
  • Assisting in various strategic and operational projects
  • Serving as a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, and develop data-driven decision-making support
  • Driving effective teamwork, communication and collaboration across functional areas


Requirements
  • Bachelors or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or other STEM degree) from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible financial or accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other basic Microsoft applications
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, research and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills
  • Uncompromising integrity in handling sensitive data
  • Ideal candidates will possess an aptitude for problem solving, the ability to adapt to new situations and interface with senior management
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
