The Operations Analyst will have a unique opportunity to work on impact-driven tasks while gaining exposure to senior leaders in the Cybersecurity practice. This role will focus on several key aspects of the business including practice strategy, operations, as well as driving business development and supporting marketing activities.
What You'll Do
Primary Duties
- Review practice operating results from Segment Finance on a regular basis and develop appropriate commentary and materials for Cybersecurity Leadership.
- Assist in the development of internal reports for tracking of backlog, pipeline, and against the global strategy.
- Support Cybersecurity Leadership in defining and executing the practice's strategy and initiatives.
- Develop original insights and recommendations to support leadership discussions and decisions.
- Identify key insights from business performance and convert them into marketing strategies, pivoting when necessary to respond to market dynamics and other factors.
- Support business development activities as well as identifying and driving growth opportunities.
- Perform competitor and market research, trends, and competitor analysis to help drive revenue and improve market share.
- Support client-facing team members with practice-specific initiatives and key account programs.
- Support client-facing professionals with RFPs and proposals.
- Collaborate with team members on the Cybersecurity Team, Segment Finance team, Corporate Research as well as other business segment operations.
- Provide ad hoc reporting as needed to support segment or corporate needs.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial statements, operations and management reporting processes and systems.
- Detail oriented and dependable.
- Ability to develop variance and trend analysis.
- Prepare clear, well-written documents to facilitate discussions with senior leadership and drive impact.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience maintaining document control databases.
- Flexibility to adapt work schedule to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility in working on multiple assignments concurrently.
- Accurate, efficient, and consistent performance in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferably Economics, Business, or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an analyst or strategy role.
- Proficiency in the use of various software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently.
- Travel required to clients and FTI office(s).
