About the Role

FTI's Healthcare practice seeks an analytical, highly organized professional who can integrate a team in order to successfully meet project milestones and deliver for our clients. The person must have demonstrated responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and directing the transformation and improvement of revenue cycle processes for hospitals and health systems. In addition to strong management skills, the candidate should possess a track record of successfully performing in and managing high performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and achieving measurable performance outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Utilize contemporary expertise in improving revenue cycle operations and identify areas for improvement.

• Effectively frame critical strategic issues for client and team. Develop sound analytics and work plan to address critical issues and effectively communicates these to team members. Ability to define engagement results in terms that align with unique client needs.

• Review data analyses, identifies discrepancies and uses knowledge to cull out nuances. Ensures validity of data, and can discern trends, patterns that may be telling.

• Synthesize the results of data analytics, client interviews, on site observations and other relevant information to prepare detailed, well-written, comprehensive assessments and recommendations related to improving effectiveness, efficiency, and strategic value of the client's human resources practice.

• Develop professional relationships with stakeholders at various levels in client organization and demonstrates ability to influence and negotiate with client, as appropriate.

• Effectively identify, develop and manage communication in all forums and demonstrates exceptional listening skills in client interactions. Ability to shape client expectations, ensuring cohesion between FTI and client personnel.

• Manage and motivate teams (FTI and/or client) to perform to highest level, demonstrating advanced ability in designing, delegating, reviewing and affecting work of others, ensuring teams are functioning smoothly and in a positive manner.

• Consistently ensure high quality of work products and deliverables at each stage of engagement is consistent with engagement proposal.

• Actively participate in business development efforts at the regional and/or service line level. Pursue sales opportunities, contribute to RFP responses and proposal writing.

• Effectively pitch new ideas/solutions to existing and prospective clients and internal departments to grow the business.

• Assist in internal practice development activities as directed.

How You'll Grow

The Director, Revenue Cycle, will be interacting with the Senior Managing Directors and Managing Directors in identifying the project goals, providing guidance to a project team, preparing deliverables and assisting with business development initiatives. They will be accountable for their team and the day-to-day activities of a complex project(s) or multiple project workstreams, leveraging data and qualitative findings to orchestrate change and operational improvement. The Director will be expected to quantify financial opportunities and ROI to advance the implementation. Additionally, they will be expected to develop high-quality presentations and dashboards for the clients, facilitate client meetings (virtually or in-person) and manage the project as it moves towards various milestones.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher; master's degree preferred

• 6+ years of hospital/professional revenue cycle experience with at least 2 years in a consulting environment

• Experience leading project teams and overseeing execution of multiple workstreams

• Ability to effectively communicate with and manage client relationships at the VP and C-suite level

• Must be willing to travel, travel requirements can be up to 80% based on client demands
