OVERVIEW
This is a professional and technical position responsible for the oversight of the development and maintenance of the Service Asset and Configuration Management related environment as well as frontline support for teams using this data. Candidate will collaborate with many teams to design, implement and maintain a best of breed Configuration Management System (CMS) enabling the Agency's multi-service-provider ecosystem to operate together efficiently. A successful candidate will have a history of providing exceptional customer service, working independently, and a strong foundation in ITSM best practices and expertise with ServiceNow's Common Services Data Model (CSDM). This position can be remote, if candidate is in Cincinnati, Northampton, Raleigh/Durham, Las Vegas or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
DUTIES

The candidate for this position will have or possess:
- Subject matter expert for the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Experience with the Common Services Data Model (CSDM)
- Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITOM
- Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITAM
- Maintain CI class, attribute, and relationship properties
- Maintain data certifications and a CMDB health dashboard
- Build transform maps to import external data sources and maintain integrations
- Configure and support discovery services for applications and physical assets (Flexera DP, BelManage) data sources
- Deliver products and services defined throughout the life cycle of the project and resolve post-production deficiencies
- Utilize proven development experience to manage and participate in designing Workflows, Business Rules, Dashboards, Script Includes, Notifications, Integrations, process automation application customization using scripting, forms, lists, tables, Business Rules, UI Scripts, Flow Designer, etc. to deliver solutions that meet requirements through agile stories
- Understanding the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation through requirements elicitation and analysis, design, development, testing, training, and implementation
- Providing insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and roadmap
- Communicating with technical and non-technical customers by answering questions related to ServiceNow Platform
- Complete other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS (if applicable)
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, such as Java scripting, XML, HTML, Ajax, CSS, JSON, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
- Experience with building custom applications by defining data tables and user interface based on business logic
- Strong experience managing dependency relationship mappings, parent and child relationships, supporting application and business services and the relationships between the CIs
- Strong demonstrated experience in the technical solution and development / implementation of ServiceNow modules, including re-platforming effort of legacy applications to the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong experience in Identification and Reconciliation Engine and integration with other modules (ITOM, GRC and SecOps) with hands-on experience developing using JavaScript desired
- Experience with data management, data sources, transform maps & Robust Import Set Transformers desired
- Experience with implementations integrations with tools & system via API, XML, REST/SOAP desired
- Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and Performance Analytics desired
Qualifications
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- 7+ Years of experience performing service asset and configuration management
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator w/5+ years of ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB development experience.
