Director, Solution Marketing | Technology

About the Opportunity:

The Director of Solution Marketing is responsible for driving the strategy and execution for go-to-market, awareness, and lead generation for the company's solutions offerings. This includes but is not limited to e-discovery technology and services, corporate and law firm audiences and related partner technologies. Core to this role is the identification and quantification of market opportunities, conducting competitive intelligence and market research, leading solutions launches, and developing integrated marketing campaigns to support sales efforts and revenue goals.

Primary Duties:
  • Lead internal stakeholder working groups for the refinement and launch of existing and new solution offerings through timelines, work back plans, deliverables and development of customer-facing materials and campaigns.
  • Translate and articulate go-to-market plans to make them actionable with supporting teams, including sales, marketing and solution consultants that hold dependencies in supporting the successful launch and promotion of offerings.
  • Serve strategically as a market evangelist alongside other stakeholders in support of promoting offerings to the market and communicating and differentiating the FTI value proposition through existing and customer-facing webcasts and events.
  • Collaborate and share best practices and learnings with the solution marketing team to support, where needed, the continued development of core competencies.
  • Drive and own go to market strategy and execution of new and existing solution offering launches.
  • Develop and own value proposition and messaging frameworks and drive effective articulation of optimal offering positioning across key client-facing constituencies including inside sales, business development, and delivery organization. Includes owning the customer voice and customer segmentation and personas.
  • Own the voice of the customer to drive strategy behind evidence-based market, audience and competitive insights that help clarify product and service direction and business strategy. Includes market analysis and sizing as part of overall go to market planning.
  • Work across the organization to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from client-facing teams, customers and competitive research.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer. Identify and drive initiatives that grow customer usage and adoption of FTI offerings.
  • Own market insight. Keep abreast of industry news, competitive landscape and other valuable market intelligence.
  • Provide timely and actionable insights based on analysis of market, customer, competitor, marketing activity, sales pipeline, revenue, and other data.
  • Define clear, compelling differentiation that increases sales effectiveness and win rate while preserving profitability of FTI offerings based on value delivered to the client.
  • Create compelling sales and marketing collateral to drive adoption and enable sales efforts. Including data sheets, case studies, presentations, explainer videos, and webinars.
  • Drive the creation of content and thought leadership to help support demand generation efforts. This includes whitepapers, case studies, webinars and social media posts.
  • Contribute to PR efforts and analyst relations where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Marketing, Communications, or Technology
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
  • COVID Vaccine required

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with results-orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fanatical when it comes to detail and able to effectively prioritize the most impactful and important work on your plate and deliver on time.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, continuously learn new concepts and innovate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share ideas and work with various stakeholders across all company levels, teams, and partners.
  • Experience managing people or be open to managing a team.
