About this role:

As member of the Human Resources Staff, responsibilities will include administrative support for, and coordination of, human resources programs and practices within the organization. This is a true HR Generalist assignment, with primary focus areas in Compensation Administration, Human Resource Information systems, Employee Relations/Welfare/Recreation,and Staffing support.

What you will do:
  • Provide general support for the Summer Internship Program (community activities, learning events, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee information in Workday/Payroll HRIS system Assist with preparation and analysis of confidential Human Resources information, compensation data, organization charts, records, etc. for internal analysis and external reporting
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition activity including search, screen, interview, and candidate selection with Hiring Managers.
  • Assist with administration of compensation programs.
  • Assist with administration of positive employee relations/recreation/welfare/safetyprograms.
  • Assist in employee communications efforts through email, postings, newsletters, meetings, etc.
  • Performs other duties as required.


What you need:
  • Studies towards BS or equivalent in Business/Human Resources
  • Junior or Senior standing is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound problem solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Sound negotiation skills
  • Ability to learn HRIS and Payroll Systems
  • Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft tools
  • Able to work extended hours as needed. Drive to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
