Managing Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion

About the Role

The Managing Director, Diversity and Inclusion will guide and drive the design and implementation of global diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives dedicated to enhance and support an inclusive culture across FTI. This role will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will be focused on programs and initiatives dedicated to attracting and retaining diverse talent at FTI Consulting. This role will also serve as a trusted advisor and key resource for FTI management on diversity and inclusion.

What You'll Do

• Direct a team of Diversity and Inclusion resources to develop and implement programs to support an inclusive culture at FTI Consulting.

• Drive firmwide and local diversity programs by providing leadership and guidance to the Diversity Ambassador Network, HR Teams, and various stakeholders across FTI Consulting.

• Design and lead an annual Diversity Conference to provide opportunities for our diverse talent to network, participate in forums and gain additional training and knowledge to help them succeed at FTI Consulting.

• Create a strong mentorship program with specific goals and accountabilities to ensure diverse talent has the support, focused guidance, and tools they need to succeed at FTI Consulting.

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to design and implement Recruiting strategies to attract diverse talent both at the experienced and campus levels including identifying and building dynamic relationships with appropriate professional associations and universities along with diversity and inclusions conferences and programs.

• Partner with the Talent Development team to develop and implement an inclusion learning and awareness strategy for all levels of employees.

• Serves as a trusted advisor to provides coaching and guidance to FTI Leaders on promoting diversity initiatives and leading diversity dialog across the firm.

• Serve as subject matter expert and liaison to HRBPs and the business to develop strategic action to attract/develop/retain diverse talent by analyzing and presenting talent demographics, monitoring data trends and developing diversity initiatives.

• Partner with employees, directors, and other stakeholders as a thought leader an trusted advisor

• Benchmark and research study, including monitoring and reporting on diversity and inclusion topics

• Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate diversity initiatives.

• Partner with the Communications Team to regularly communicate internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress.

• Identify, build, and sustain community partnerships to support corporate diversity and inclusion projects/plans/initiatives and business strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with a specialization in business, behavioral/social science, HR management or another relevant field is preferred

• Minimum 15 years of prior training and/or related human resource experience.

• Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness leading diversity and inclusion related initiatives and programs at a leadership level.

• Proven track record of project management and ability to drive programs that support the organization's workforce diversity, inclusiveness, and retention opportunities.

• Influencing & negotiation skills with an ability to influence behavior change and drive alignment across executives and peers at all levels in an organization

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels of the organization and externally.

• Proven track record of coaching leaders at all levels

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation
