About the Role

FTI Health Solutions Financial Operations is seeking experienced professionals at the Senior Consultant level with educational background and/or experience utilizing complex analytical tools and financial acumen for healthcare clients. The candidate should possess a track record of successfully integrating into high-performing, interdisciplinary teams to develop dynamic analytical solutions and meet project milestones.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Consultant position include:

• Supporting the Health Solutions Financial Operations team build and grow the practice. Developing knowledge management, including tools, methodologies, reports, models, work plans, checklists and processes
• Performing high quality client work and developing client relationships for Fin Ops service assignments, including taking a proactive approach and anticipating client needs.
• Assisting with practice development and marketing, including developing materials, surveys, events and case studies.

• Willingness to travel as necessary - up to 80%.

• Strong understanding of corporate financial statements, basic accounting principles, and financial planning and analysis concepts.
• Results Orientation: Strong track record of delivery with strong reputation as a reliable financial analyst or consultant with an FP&A, Accounting, and Data Analysis background, and an ability to meet clients' needs with great attention to detail.
• Strategic Orientation: Candidates must have highly developed business acumen as their primary orientation and be readily able to engage in broader business issues.
• Influencing and Partnering: A change agent who is able to point to a strong track record of delivery in organizations where they led similarly business advisory engagement teams and has an engaging, energizing and collaborative personal style.

• Personal Motivation: An ambitious and entrepreneurial character that thrives in fast-paced environments and has a hands-on attitude with an ability to transform ideas into reality through execution.
• Ability to develop creative approaches and the solutions necessary to resolve complex problems.
• Ability to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations. Very action focused, flexible and responsive.
• Experience in data analytics and using data to provide fact-based recommendations
• Excellent listening, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills and strong influencing skills.
• Expertise with creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Positive role model who will help and stand-up for team members as they balance work and personal commitments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate or Masters' degree in Accounting preferred, but Finance or Business Administration with accounting experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in financial management consulting (with healthcare client experience preferred) or a corporate finance and/or accounting role in Healthcare.
• Must have expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel modeling
• Must have experience with relational database programs (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Access, etc.).

• Experience with business intelligence or data analytics tools is preferred but not required.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives.
