The Inventory Control Specialist tracks inventory and stock changes. Your responsibilities include overseeing inventory accuracy and maintaining inventory records. Other duties include reporting inventory levels and issues to management, looking for any discrepancy with inventory, and creating reports that show available inventory or issues with inventory counts.
Essential Functions:
- Report, reconcile and research inventory discrepancy issues
- Working with our Field organization to review and adjust inventory levels across our nationwide service network
- Coordinate cycle counts in the Field and at our Distribution Centers
- Work with finance to make adjustments to our perpetual inventory resulting from cycle counts and other inventory discrepancies
- Work with inventory holding sites on continuous improvement related to inventory and transaction integrity
- Suggest ways to balance inventory across our network to meet customer needs
Qualifications:
- High School or GED required, Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
- Attention to detail, solid judgement, and decision-making skills
- Excellent math, reading, communication, and problem solving/analytical skills
- Must be resourceful, thorough, and decisive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- 1+ years' experience in warehouse or inventory control function
