Essential Functions:
- Review incoming business requests and manage the daily support and maintenance of Salesforce and salesforce.com applications
- Work collaboratively with business users to assist in gathering and refining business requirements related to each request
- Build and unit test Salesforce configuration-based enhancements that lead to efficiency gains and an improved user experience
- Identify high priority business requests or bugs and escalate to broader DevOps teams
- Assist with quality assurance testing of improvements and new features developed by the broader DevOps team and managed service providers
- Write documentation capturing business and system processes related to system changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years Salesforce administration experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification, Advanced Administrator preferred
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel and basic functions (e.g. VLOOKUP)
- Experience administrating complex Salesforce environments and supporting a large user base
- Experience with agile software delivery methodology (e.g. JIRA)
- Willingness to work closely with key business stakeholders in requirements gathering exercises
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to obtain essential platform certifications
- Experience with one or more of the following applications desired: Salesforce CPQ, ServiceMax, Financial Force, Zuora
