Sr. Manager, Inventory Management

As the Sr. Manager, Inventory Management you will have the opportunity to work with a team of people to develop, execute, mature, and scale the inventory strategy across the Quench network. You will be responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory of the company. Key functions include the planning, execution and reconciliation of full physical inventories and cycle count processes in all our inventory locations. Additionally, you will drive development of business processes, tools, and analytics to support inventory planning and control activities. This role requires independent thought leadership and influencing skills to drive change and align on cohesive strategies, processes, and execution elements to ensure we have solid inventory controls and optimized inventory levels across our nationwide inventory holding locations.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
  • Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
  • Oversee all cycle counts and reconciliation for all inventory holding locations
  • Review investigations to determine root cause and action items associated with variances
  • Manage the movement of material across the Quench USA network to meet customer demand
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business processes to ensure compliance with company policies centered on inventory
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement of inventory controls
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Care, Service, and other functional groups to address daily questions related to inventory availability and allocations


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or technical field (preferred)
  • Successful 5+ year track record in related inventory management role
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, and query tools
  • Experience working within a company with a good to excellent cycle counting program
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
