Essential Functions
- Oversee Demand Planning function
- Mange supply planning area to include daily management of buyer/planners
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, stockouts, purchase price variance, and supplier performance
- Assist in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the demand and supply plan and validate past assumptions
- Accountable for the architecture of the SIOP process and for the successful rollout and implementation
- Work with internal stakeholders to provide a high level of customer service and communicate clearly key information such as lead times
- Supplier Forecasting - Provide component forecast out 12 months, updated quarterly
- Supplier production prioritization as necessary
- Product (PLM) transition management of inventory at suppliers and throughout our network
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Operations management, supply chain management or equivalent
- 5 + years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area
- APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
- Significant experience directing and leading others
- Ability to identify business process issues and implement effective improvement and control plan
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) across multiple levels of the organization
- Statistical knowledge and problem-solving skills
