IT Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional strategic initiatives. Projects include launching new functionality and services, small to medium-scale application development, systems integration, process reengineering, operational efficiency improvements, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

Essential Functions:
  • Project manage cross functional teams to deliver complex Salesforce projects on time and to budget, motivating and influencing team members to be accountable and achieve success
  • Responsible for planning, allocating tasks and executing the projects at hand
  • Works with team to manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Partners with business owners and IT leaders to build, maintain and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify potential risks and developing solutions to manage them
  • Understands the decision-making authority of the team and escalates as appropriate
  • Validates financial forecasts, cost assumptions, and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of project management experience, managing small to medium projects, with emphasis on product development, systems, and technology environments
  • Direct experience mobilizing and motivating teams; set direction and approach; facilitate conflict resolution; identifies/understands drivers, root cause; seeking guidance or escalating when needed
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build a strong partnership and trust with IT and business leaders within the organization
  • Technical acumen with ability to communicate with clarity and precision both written and verbally
  • Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
  • Hybrid PM who can work in both a waterfall and agile environment with Salesforce experience
