The Security Project Manager is responsible for full life-cycle management for electronic security system projects across multiple technology platforms and in a multitude of vertical markets. This includes the organization and management of resources and activities for bidding, planning, materials purchasing and management, installation, budget-tracking, and project close out. In addition, for certain programs / projects, the Project Manager will work as member of a larger Project Management Team.
The Project Manager focus is on delivering World Class Customer Experience and Quality. They are integral to the account team and is key in building the trusted relationship with the customer. They are an extension of the sales team and carry a farming quota.
The individual reports into a manager of project managers within a business unit.
Responsibilities

• Conform and adhere to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.
• Monitor all aspects of project plans to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met.
• Monitor risks and initiate necessary proactive and corrective actions
• Manage change control and procure change orders
• Manage Vision team and/or subcontractors/vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
• Monitor and drive the quality assurance process during all phases of the project.
• Continuously expand / farm existing Accounts for additional opportunities to introduce other Vision services. Look for new opportunities with new clients that enable Vision to provide A/V, security, Wireless/DAS, and/or network infrastructure services.
• Maintain data and system integrity
o Ensure accurate system data for engagement set up
o Aligning all contract documents (PO, Contract, Proposal, Estimates)
o Proper billing schedule
• Performing weekly reviews of:
o Project Budget Trackers
o Project metrics system
o Invoicing
o Pending awards
o Accounts receivables
o System dates

Qualifications
- College degree or AA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience specific to the job responsibilities.
- Excellent fluency with project management methodologies.
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of delivering voice/data/fiber and wireless installation projects.
