Responsibilities
- Follows Established Work Instructions, and Shipping procedures.
- Ability to read sales orders and understand shipping directions given.
- Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
- Ensure labeling information and quantity accuracy when preparing shipment to ensure product quality.
- Verify inventory and report any shortages to Finished Goods team
- Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Process orders based on the preferred / routed shipping system (e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
- Appropriate interaction with delivery and freight company personnel
- Maintain appropriate 5S conditions. Keeping warehouse aisles and locations inside and outside clean, organized and free of clutter.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Follow written and verbal work instructions in English
- Good math knowledge
- Ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, management
- Good communication skills
- MS Suite (Outlook, excel, word)
- Good attendance and work ethic
