Branch Operations Manager

ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary focus of this position is to oversee and be responsible for the success of the Yard of specific operations yards. Focusing on safety and effectiveness this role will lead all Yard functions within the assigned branch and ensure the operations yards meet all expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of all ops yard positions focusing on safety and efficiently preparing units for rental/sale
  • Based on demand and forecast of units will assign and schedule team to maximize time and crease available units based on upcoming demand
  • Will monitor all costs and production to ensure effective use of resources and time
  • Will coach train and mentor team to focus on safety efficiency and high performance
  • Will be responsible to conduct safety audits and training
  • Develops new processes and procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency to prepare units to go to rent. May also oversee the scheduling of supplies for the Ops Yard
  • Other duties as assigned

Equipment Used and Responsibility:
  • Computer telephone and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite
  • Welder and Forklift if needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Yes - Yard and Production Employees (Welder Forklift Operators Yard Workers and Leads)


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred
  • 3 Years of leadership and operations experience
  • Knowledge in MS Office Suite including Excel
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Knowledge of OSHA and state specific safety regulations
  • Welding experience or welding certificate
  • Forklift Certification preferred
  • Communicate clearly: verbal and written
  • Valid Driver's License
