Job Description
Ensures all customer billing questions for the hospital are handled promptly to assure satisfaction. Identify needs of patients that may qualify for financial assistance. Reviewing and processing financial assistance applications. Responsible for understanding federal lending laws to provide instruction and enroll customers in bank loan program . Generate price estimates for self pay patients and shoppers. Review past due accounts to determine eligibility of placement with collection agency. Assist in the management of the Accounts Receivable through providing information needed for billing follow up and reimbursement.
