As a Medical Surgical Nurse on this unit you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans. This nursing position will provide you with variety in your day-to-day and allow you to expand and grow your nursing skills.
This department can be fast-paced and unpredictable at times. This is a diverse team with various skills and backgrounds that believes in knowledge sharing and helping each other provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
