Evaluates or screens clients after impairment injury or disease plans designs and implements individualized occupational therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise functional retraining use of thermal electric modalities splinting and use of various other training and retraining skills. Periodically reevaluates client to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning. Supervises treatment provided by students technicians or assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team. Delegates and instructs supportive personnel and performs other duties as requested by the manager. May serve as a clinical resource or coordinate the student program.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Occupational Therapist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
