Saint Luke's Home Care & Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice and Home Health Registered Nurse to join our Northeast area office. Our home hospice RNs help the patient control and direct their end-of-life care. They provide peace of mind, dignity, and comfort on the patient's terms-often in their own home. The hospice team provides medical, emotional, and spiritual support to not only the patient, but also the patient's family. In addition to hospice care, this position will also assist with home health visits.
A strong orientation team of leadership, educators and preceptors are available to you to ensure a successful transition into this position. This is a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals with various skills, experience, education, and specialties working together through the care management process.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong critical thinking, time management, proactive total patient care, and organizational skills. You must be confident in your skills and able to work autonomously, as well as with a collaborative and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with patients in their home. You must be able to stay positive in a changing environment with the ability to change directions quickly as needed.
Missouri and Kansas RN License Required.
