Vision Technologies, Professional Services Business Unit is seeking a fulltime Capture Analyst to formalize internal business development processes and reporting in support of a focused strategy. This Capture Analyst will report to the Professional Services Business Unit Manager and support our team in both Chantilly, VA and Glen Burnie, MD.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage a pipeline to identify and track new and existing opportunities within the government space, focused on IT and technology services.
• Lead development, reporting, and application of business development analytics.
• Research and present data pertaining to risk analysis and bid/no-bid recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strategic opportunity pipeline and track associated supporting tasks.
• Provide business intelligence pertaining to opportunities to include incumbent information and competitive assessments.
• Develop baseline win strategy, themes, and team configuration.
• Prepare and revise strategic action plans, ROIs, and risk assessment.
• Identify opportunities and potential teaming partnerships through agency research, client and partner networks.
• Monitor public databases, Government Agency websites, and Government Agency procurement forecasts.
• Drive phases of capture activities and strategy execution.
• Brief senior management at specified milestones in the capture process.
Qualifications
• BA / BS in business or any other related degree.
• Must have 5 years of government contracting experience.
• Experience using GovWin/Deltek and FBO. and other research/information platforms.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and produce accurate work.
• Exceptional communication skills including written and interpersonal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Visio. Superior attention to detail and a strong foundation in
• Proven understand and successful application of business development in US Government contracting space
Desired Skills/Experience
• Experience in IT services contracts and communications technology.
• Formal training in the proposal development process (Shipley and alternative methodologies).
