Sterile Processing Technician: PRN Shifts

Job Description
This position is responsible for the processing sterilization and documentation related to sterility of patient care supplies instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital in accordance with the AORN Standards of Practice. Prepare and assemble instrument sets and surgery trays using count sheets and verifies proper function and integrity of instruments. Labels instruments correctly and returns them to their proper location. Efficient in the quality execution of instrumentation that is directly related to patient safety and department efficiencies. Familiar with AAMI Joint Commission and APIC standards related to infection control. Experience with sterilization of instruments is required.

This position is PRN.
