JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Sales Operations Manager, acts as a liaison, provides product/services information, and resolves any emerging problems that our customer accountsmight face with accuracy and efficiency. Daily, puts themselves in their customers' shoes and acts as an advocate for them when necessary. The main goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Reply to inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and fax
- Use available resources efficiently to assess customer issues and recommend valid solutions
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor/account manager and provide continuous dialog regarding the status
- Record details of each customer interaction and any actions taken
- Maintain adequate knowledge of all internal software and systems (i.e., SAP)
- Attend all Sales and Operations meetings, as required
- Become proficient in the following:
- Internal Software and Systems
- International Documents
- Order Entry/Maintenance/Acknowledgements
- Freight Quotes/Scheduling Shipments
- Provide assistance to other departments as requested
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred
- 2+ years experience in a clerical or administrative capacity is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Ability to successfully work within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good at identifying and solving problems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
