Summary
The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting new product introduction testing and training projects for Service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with New Product Development projects in Service. Working with cross functional team from design to release of a product. Represent Service for all product related meetings.
- Working with engineering team from both external and internal to gather necessary technical information and create required materials and documents. Create procedures, work instructions, service manuals and other technical docs as required.
- Create Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to initiate the ECO process. Clearly document changes and impacts of changes. Utilize Arena PLM system, JIRA ticketing system and Confluence to create the required change request.
- Create repair training materials and provide it to the internal trainers for use in a classroom environment. Utilize MyTopcon LMS to create courses, quizzes and materials. Conduct in person and virtual training for both internal and external service personnel.
- Create test fixtures or troubleshooting stations, and testing scripts modification by utilizing electronic and product knowledge. Test Script modification related to 3DMC, Magnet, TRU & test server via LINUX & Microsoft.
- Utilize MS-Office, Power BI, and LMS to review, analyze and present data. Represent Service in NPI meetings, generate reports, and make recommendations for service requirements.
- Provide technical support to Service technician and Training team by utilizing SaleForce, Confluence & MyTopcon.
- Create Service Information Bulletin (SIB) to both internal and external service personnel.
Qualifications
- B.S. in electronics or related technology, or equivalent military training.
- Familiar with test equipment, such as but not limited to multi-meters and oscilloscopes to diagnose and adjust optical, mechanical and electronic instruments.
- 4 years testing engineering background. Knowledge on Linux & Windows. Excellent communication verbal/written skills and ability to work on/with multifunctional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of electronic test equipment.
