Job Purpose
Performance of on-site installation and calibration of Topcon MC products and provide post installation support and back up for Ag Products.
Duties
- Installation of Topcon equipment in accordance with company and installation procedures on site with customers, ensuring products are in working order prior to sign off.
- Calibrate Topcon products as identified and when needed.
- Provide post installation support to customers including onsite repairs.
- Deal with technical enquires from customer or staff at Topcon.
- Provide excellent customer service through the customer lifecycle.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other departments.
- Assist in other areas of the company's operations (within capabilities) as required.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as an installation engineer or fitter within the Ag, construction or surveying sector with the ability to read and understand electronic and wiring schematic drawings.
- Electrically or mechanical qualified with experience in an engineering discipline
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles and processes to providing first class customer services.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, enabling clear and accurate delivery of information to customers.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and CRM systems.
- Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage own workload with various deadlines and duties whilst maintaining flexibility.
- Good problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
