Job Purpose: Product/Portfolio Management for Topcon GNSS Correction Software and Services. Design and Architect Topcon's strategic Correction Software and Services platform. Create long-term roadmaps and near-term requirements and work with engineering and operations teams to bring them to completion. Develop and manage Go To Market plans. Ownership of roadmap based on market and customer inputs.
Core Job Duties
- Correction software and services strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for all Bus. Create product and functional architecture as a foundation for engineering development.
- Complete product ownership (outlying customer, business, solution requirements) of all GNSS correction portfolio and their dependencies. Management of GNSS correction services and solutions throughout products life cycle (concept to EOL phase). Management of Product requirements through market research, customer interviews, strategic planning and fact-based-decision-making. Creation and Review of products related technical and product marketing documentations.
- Customer, distribution, and OEM engagement on all existing correction services. Expert Technical Support for internal and external GNSS and emerging core technology customers. Build a support and service system to manage critical service levels globally.
- Cross-Functional and Business Units coordination and support on correction services. Coordination of validation activities for solution/applications through a highly functional, motivated, and efficient validation team. Close collaboration with other PM teams (MC, Software, Optical, AG) and cross-functional department (PS, NPI, Eng, OPS, Eng OPS etc.) to ensure overall successful performance of the GNSS solution as per the process.
- Market research, competitive analysis around GNSS correction services. Management of portfolio management including market landscape, competitive and financial analysis in coordination with sales and marketing.
- Onboard and manage tenders from large business opportunities.
- Develop Go To Market plan. Work with executives and business unit leaders to define and execute a successful go-to-market strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline with 10+ years of related experience.
- Prior experience in a GNSS positioning/mapping/surveying industry or related field and/or combined with a degree in Geomatics/mapping discipline will be preferred.
- Direct work experience with Topcon and/or similar systems and technology.
- Application/solution experience related to core products, Agriculture, GNSS/GIS, Construction, or Survey markets is a plus.

- Problem-solving skills through critical analysis and reasoning will be required for this role.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills are mandatory to interact with the product, project teams and customers located at different geographical locations across the world.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Hands-on product and technical experience in the TPS domains, along with business fundamentals.
- Must be a self-starter, determining own direction to meet business objectives.
- Must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in product plans and job priorities.
- Ability to share ideas, and discuss strategies in a cooperative, interactive, professional manner with team members around the globe.
- Strong understanding of the use of JIRA, Confluence, MS office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Project and Visio), reporting tools etc; knowledge of PM tool (i.e. Aha) is a plus.
- Travel (up to ~40%) to visit domestic or international customer sites, corporate office and internal teams are expected.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend time product planning and performing validation testing in the survey, MC, Building construction, Monitoring, OEM, Network, AG, etc. field conditions anywhere in the world as necessary.
Working Conditions:
- The individual must be comfortable working with Topcon solutions near heavy machinery.
- Ability to travel (Domestic and International); should be willing to acquire necessary travel document related to travel, as needed.
