A key member to our IT team, this person isresponsible for providing second level technical support of infrastructure development, maintenance, problem resolution, and system monitoring; as well as technical assistance for employees, contractors, and customers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Lead the development, testing, and lifecycle management of end-user compute platforms including OS images, software updates/patching, and hardware.
- Standardize software deployments through SCCM packaging and other scripting/automation initiatives.
- Identify and propose enhancements to processes and technologies to improve team efficiency and customer experience.
- Conduct problem management to identify trends in support/requests related to end-user technologies and remediate underlying problems.
- Provide reports and complete activities for SOX and license/software/hardware management activities.
- Act as support lead for executive and other key resources.
- Provide escalation support for the Service Desk team to identify, diagnose, and resolve user and system issues within SLA requirements.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience supporting a MS Windows environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with:
- Scripting and automation with PowerShell.
- SCCM or other software management tool implementation, deployment, and management.
- End user platform definition, testing, and management.
- Experience with on prem and cloud VDI solutions a plus.
- Experience defining and maintaining end-user technology platforms.
- Experience with mobile device standardization and management including tools such as AirWatch.
