Job Purpose:
- Assemble electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies, products, or systems to meet quality aspects.
- Reads work orders, follows production drawings and inspect component during assemblies.
- Refer to Blueprint specifications and follow
- Assembly process flow chat to complete work assignments from start to finish.
- Support daily demand to meet quarterly and monthly revenues
Job Duties
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble assigned tasks.
- Gathering tools, materials, positioning parts or subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Crimps, screws, solders, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Follows established procedures on routine work, will work with line leader on all new assignments
- Understand quality efficiency and makes judgments. Ability to adapt new processes and new products, attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
Minimum Two-year work experiences in manufacturing environment.
Must be able to take directions from leadership and work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Standing up work position.
Pick material on work bench above shoulder level.
Able to lifts to 25lb.
Position required bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting and pushing carts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
Familiar with hand tools such as strippers, crimpers, cutters, torque drivers, and basic production tools.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure and interact effectively in a team environment. Basic computer skills
Working Conditions:
Must be proactive to support production and other department requests to meet monthly revenue.
Some overtime and weekend work required.
