TITLE: Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst - Mid

LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO

OVERVIEW

Streamline Defense is seeking an exceptionally-qualified candidate to serve as an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst at the Mid-level in support of the U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) Intelligence Directorate (J2) in Colorado Springs, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private and U.S. and foreign government open source materials within established security protocols.
  • Analyzes foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements of foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to, foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies.
  • Works with engineers and scientists on foreign space capabilities.
  • Research foreign space and counterspace forces, activities, and capabilities including, but not limited to, civilian and military organizations; command structure, leadership, equipment, weapons, and systems and their readiness and disposition.
  • Conduct analysis of foreign space facilities; operations, exercises and training; tactics, techniques, and procedures; vulnerabilities; assembly and launch capabilities; dual-use systems and technologies; and emerging space and counterspace technologies.
  • Develops, coordinates, executes, and refines USSPACECOM counterspace warning problems and associated indicators.
  • Monitors and reports on adversary space and counterspace assets OR&D.
  • Develops pattern-of-life analysis on adversary space and counterspace forces and systems.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) years of experience.
  • Knowledge of open source systems, tradecraft, and methodologies to conduct research, collection, or analysis.
  • Knowledge of space and counterspace environments.
  • Knowledge of advanced internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and resource validation.
