We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Assistant to handle a variety of HR administrative duties. Our position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Ultimately, you will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.
Core Job Duties:
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Redirect or triage HR related call or correspondence to the appropriate team members
- Maintain employee records: ensure all employment requirements are met
- Support the Recruitment process by arranging travel, scheduling, conducting references and background checks
- Assist with processing of hires, terms and other regular updates to our HRIS system (Workday)
- Process corporate credit cards
- Assist with various research projects and/or special projects
- Prepare reports and support projects as needed
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience assisting and HR department or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Minimum BSc/BA in Business Administration or other relevant area of study
- Additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to use MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is a plus)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
