Responsibilities
  • This position is an opportunity for you to join a dynamic team to deliver value added services.
  • As a member of the SOX team, you will get exposure to cross functional senior level management.
  • You will be responsible for executing internal controls testing in support of the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404 Compliance Program. This includes identifying and evaluating the effectiveness of the key controls, documenting testing results, ensuring supporting documents corroborate the test results.
  • Prepare periodic dashboard to keep management apprised of testing status and escalate any exceptions / key issues.
  • Find root cause of deficiencies in any operating effectiveness, perform analysis, collect adequate documentation/evidence, and confirm remediation plan for the deficiencies.
  • Coordinate process walk-throughs with functional business partners and external auditors.
  • Update/ create process flowcharts/ narratives, Risk Matrix, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Cooperate with supervisory authorities and External Auditors.
  • Perform other duties, special projects as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in SOX.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Solid analytical, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Highly organized, enthusiastic, and motivated.
