The Recruiting Assistant provides administrative and clerical support, assists in meeting the recruiting goals and objectives of the organization, and provides quality customer service to both external and internal employees and applicants.
In this role you will:
- Answer incoming calls and greet all guests in a timely and courteous manner
- Prescreen applicants and schedule interviews, as directed via phone and in person if applicable
- Manage the daily interview and appointment schedule if applicable
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
- File and maintain accurate records and information, including online assessment guides
- Update accurate records and information in our ATS and assessment tool if applicable
- Follow-up with candidates, manage candidates pipeline on a daily basis, confirm training details to hired applicants
- Respond to general phone calls from clients, employees and potential candidates if applicable
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Create new hire packets and support on boarding process
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience working in a fast pace, front office environment or customer service related position
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the English language for the purpose of public interaction
- Proficiency in MS office product suite (Word, PP, Excel, Access)
- The ability to effectively support the recruiting team and share responsibility for results
- The ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
- Neat and professional appearance
