OVERVIEW
Streamline Defense is seeking an exceptionally-qualified candidate to serve as an IT Systems Administrator/Architect in support of the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) on Hurlburt Field, FL. The Contractor shall provide systems administration and engineering expertise in assessing requirements, as well as designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting (as needed) technically advanced end-to-end solutions in support of USSOCOM SOF GEOINT PED (SGIP) missions under the Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS)-SOF Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide recommendations for integration of new systems.
- Assist other project members with analysis and evaluation, and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties:
- Information systems architecture.
- Networking.
- Telecommunications.
- Automation.
- Communications protocols.
- Risk management/electronic analysis.
- Software.
- Software development methodologies.
- Modeling and simulation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to support evolving customer requirements.
- Design/implement system solutions for FMV and imagery software for garrison, deployable, and expeditionary operations.
- Perform systems engineering and integration in support of SGIP systems, to include the Automated Information Discovery Environment (AIDE), the Multi-Int Analysis Archive System (MAAS), and any follow-on systems.
- Instruct, direct, and check the work of other project members and system administrators.
- Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests.
- Lead processes for design, implementation, and test of Audio/Visual (AV) solutions in support of AFSOC PED facilities.
- Gather requirements, design, install, and support SGIP systems.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the TO.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Six (6) years of experience relevant to the position is required.
- A DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification is required within 30 days of hire.
