Sr Internal Auditor

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and execution of audits related to Sarbanes Oxley, financial, operational and compliance audits across Mobile Mini. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, Internal Audit, co-sourced resources and Field Examiner team and partner collaboratively with management.

What You'll Do as our Senior Internal Auditor:

• Lead management's business process compliance testing of COSO 2013 and Sarbanes Oxley requirements and safeguarding of company assets. Work with Director, Internal Audit and co-sourcing partner to assess and recommend necessary changes to continually increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's Sarbanes Oxley program.
• Plan and execute reviews of internal controls over financial reporting, operational effectiveness and efficiency amongst branches and Service Center departments, information technology systems, and compliance with laws and regulations across the Company in accordance with established protocols. Prepare, develop and execute risk-based audit programs that clearly define and meet the objective of each review, employing professional judgment and testing methodologies.
• Prepare draft deliverables at the conclusion of each audit and coordinate with management to address audit observations and management action plans. Assist the Director, Internal Audit with Audit Committee deliverables and periodic presentations to management.
• Coordinate internal audit activities with the external auditors to ensure appropriate audit coverage, eliminate duplicative activities and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities.
• Assist the Director, Internal Audit and management with other tasks or projects as required, including investigations.
• Develop strong relationships with management and field personnel and build a comprehensive understanding of the business in order to provide value added recommendations that aid in improving operations.

What You'll Need to be a Successful Internal Auditor:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing or related field
• 3+ years of progressive audit experience through external audit or public company experience
• CPA or CIA preferred
• Solid understanding of COSO 2013 Framework, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and IIA Standards
• Self-starter mentality with a drive to help lead the transformation and redesign of the internal audit function.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to build effective partnerships at all levels.
• Exhibit sound judgment amid differing views.
• Possess the highest professional and personal standards, impeccable integrity and business ethics.
• Proven analytical ability and ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%
• Effective time management skills
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred
• Solid experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
