As an Oncology Nurse on our Neuro Oncology Unit, you will provide medical surgical intermediate level of care to patients with complex conditions and treatment plans. Some of these may include; Neuro Oncology, General Oncology, Chemo Therapy, GYN Oncology procedures, and assist with preparing patients for procedures and caring for them after procedures. Performing thorough assessments and building relationships with the patients is an important piece of this role.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
We are looking for a nurse who is able to see the big picture and be proactive in their care. To be successful, you will need to have a desire to learn, drive for continuous improvement, and possess strong communication skills. We are needing a nurse with thorough assessment skills and a desire to help their team be the best they can be.
