TITLE: Asia-Pacific J25 Policy Analyst - SME

LOCATION: Arlington, VA (Pentagon)

OVERVIEW

Streamline Defense is seeking an exceptionally-qualified candidate to serve as an Asia-Pacific Policy Analyst Subject Matter Expert, supporting the J25 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The J25 Policy Analyst will focus on providing support to J25 Planning efforts by providing expertise on Asian-Pacific culture, military, religion, foreign policy, politics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all-source intelligence analysis to produce intelligence assessments and briefings for the customer for executive level audiences.
  • Present findings to leadership and senior executives in attendance of internal/external meetings with the ability to explain complex information.
  • Draft presentations and supporting documentation (as needed).
  • Coordinates and interacts with analysts from service, component, DoD, and national-level intelligence agencies.
  • Analyze and assess intelligence against a wide scope of data sources.
  • Gather, interpret, and compare data to produce reports and establish conclusions.
  • Deliver analysis and make policy recommendations based on research.
  • Develop concepts of operations for processing and analytical initiatives.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility. Must be willing to take a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.
  • MA/MS degree and over 10 years of experience, or BA/BS and over 18 years of experience intelligence analysis supporting the IC or U.S. military.
  • Must be effective communicator to range of customers and stake holders (i.e. counterparts and action officers in other Joint Staff, COCOM, IC, and interagency organizations.
  • Need to be comfortable briefing J2 seniors (J2, VJ2, DJ2) and other senior customers (GO/FO/SES) regularly. Need to instill confidence in J25 leadership of this ability.
  • Must understand the interagency process, roles of combatant commands, and different intelligence equities within the Joint Staff.
  • Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC) and Combatant Command environments.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
