JOB OVERVIEW:
The Business Continuity Manager will support organizational planning to address disasters and interruptions of business functions. They will assist with the development of plans for continuity of essential functions and resumption of complete business operations. The candidate will help monitor business and operation changes to ensure plans remain current and valid. They will help coordinate annual operational exercises and table top exercises to validate plans. The business continuity department interacts with all the different teams at Prometric and has to have a general understanding of all the operations to properly execute resiliency plans. It is a cross-functional work environment which provides exposure to multiple aspects of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Preferably in business or computer science
- Prior Business Continuity Experience a plus
- Excellent organizing and planning skills
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- SharePoint skills a plus
- Ability to work across all organizational levels
- Ability to work independent of direct supervision
- Candidate must be a self-starter with strong follow-up skills
