In this role you will:
• Provide technical and costing guidance to sales and operations regarding technology solutions and strategy to include applicable best practices, alignment to client requirements, innovative approaches, and other related material.
• Manage all IT related aspects of RFP responses, and bring in subject matter experts as necessary.
• Establish winning solutions by coordinating important resources from all associated technology departments.
• Provide the voice of technology to sales in key client presentations and meetings to ensure optimum balance between what is promised and what is delivered. Builds client confidence and drives better client solutions by establishing this balance.
• Gather and document all associated costs for technical implementation of new programs and program change requests.
• Provide internal presentation of customer requirements and recommended solution.
• Gather and document all requirements for new programs and present finalized requirements to IT Launch teams.
• Provide input to SOW creation concerning technical standards SOW review.
• Evaluate new tools and solutions that add value and help differentiate the organization from the competition and provide recommendations to IT Leadership concerning selection.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
• Five years of industry experience, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting.
• Expert knowledge of information technology systems and operations related industry standards.
• The ability to direct a structured sales process that results in closed new business revenue.
• Strong skills in negotiation, effective and persuasive speaking, discussion, and debate.
• Exceptional ability to gather and organize functional and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of Telecom, Networking, CRM Systems, Call Recording Technologies, and other emerging Contact Center technologies.
• Ability to travel to attend work related meetings and training sessions.
