IT Financial Management Director

The IT Financial Management Director works closely with the CIO, Finance, and other senior executives. Collaborates with senior IT leadership to identify revenue generating and cost transformation initiatives that drive positive overall financial performance. Develops and provides financial modeling and analysis to drive visibility into IT performance and enables leadership to make informed decisions on strategic opportunities. Builds trusted cross-functional relationships to develop and refine planning, budgeting, and management reporting processes.

In this role you will:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial validation, reconciliation, planning and analysis activities across the IT functions.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide fact-based recommendations that improve profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Advise IT leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance and propose potential solutions to complex problems.
  • Review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and KPIs against technology plan and provide clear feedback and reporting to leadership.
  • Lead IT teams through annual budget process and prepare annual financial budget for presentation to leadership.
  • Drive a strong understanding of key priorities and activities across the IT functions and be able to understand and translate them into an outlook and financial forecast.
  • Develop and present forecasting and financial KPIs and dashboards to IT leadership on a consistent basis.
  • Improve IT teams understanding of financial statements and budget adherence with thoughtful and transparent analysis.
  • Lead and support ad hoc strategic analyses, developing key insights that support technology initiatives.
  • Maintain successful relationships with key cross-functional business leaders.


We are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or relate area of course study
  • Five to seven years of related finance and accounting experience.
  • An analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for change, identify alternative best practice solutions and anticipate future problems and opportunities.
  • The ability to apply assessment measurement and evaluation techniques.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, financial systems, reporting tools, and other MS Office programs.
  • Change management aptitude and ability
  • The ability to clearly and concisely express ideas and concepts verbally and in writing adopting writing style and language to fit the situation and audience.
